This year the department is conducting its Sigma Tau Delta honors society  induction during the fall semester.    The guest speaker will be Alexandra Zapruder who has  published an award-winning collection of letters, Salvaged Pages, written by adolescent Holocaust victims and survivors.  She has also produced a  documentary nominated for an Emmy based on the book.  [...]
