Marymount is expanding its creative writing curriculum with new classes focused on specific genres–poetry, fiction, and drama. In the spring, Dr. Karapetkova will teach a course on poetry, EN 305, Topics in Creative Writing: Poetry. The course will offer students the chance to sharpen their skills in writing poetry through writing exercises, workshops, and readings from exciting contemporary poets.
