Dr. Amy Scott-Douglass, assistant professor of Literature & Language, will lecture as part of the Literature & Language Department’s Works in Progress series. She will be discussing adaptations of Merchant of Venice, Othello, Taming of the Shrew, and Measure for Measure written for young people. The talk is based upon her research at the Folger Shakespeare Library on children’s Shakespeare books from the 19th century to present day. The lecture will take place in the Lee Reception Room in the Reinsch Library from 4pm-5pm.
