Marymount Students Present at the PCA National Conference

This past April, two Marymount English majors presented their research on Patricia Highsmith in the Popular Culture Association’s annual meeting, held this year in Boston. Mary Kate Mulligan presented on gender and misogyny in her essay, “A Necessary Evil,” and Adrianne Morris spoke about capitalism, conformity, and performance in “The Rolling Wheel of Capitalism.” Read more about their work on the PCA/ACA conference website by following the links above. Both Adrianne and Mary Kate were enrolled in Dr. Howe’s Fall 2011 Major Authors course on Patricia Highsmith. Congratulations!
